Events

Our events are a great way to dip your toes into the Covenant House World! You'll learn about Covenant House Georgia's programs & impact, hear stories and testimonies from our youth, and experience the inspiring resiliency of the youth we serve first hand. Read about each of our major events below and discover which ones you want to get involved in!

 Events

Every year, thousands of community members across the United States, Canada and Central America sleep out in solidarity with homeless youth. Will you join them?

Enjoy dinner, street outreach experiences, and hearing youth stories the night of the event. Then sleep outside to send a clear message to the homeless youth of Atlanta that they are not alone.

A Night of Broadway Stars is the signature event of Covenant House, and over the years, it has raised millions of charitable dollars to save homeless youth across the nation. Produced by composer and lyricist Neil Berg, the show features the talents of well known Broadway stars. Each Spring in Atlanta, the stars captivate us with the songs they are most famous for, but it is the message of hope and survival told by the youth that resonates the loudest. Thank you for helping Covenant House Georgia raise a record-setting $1,049,890 at the 2018 A Night of Broadway Stars event to support the needs of Atlanta's most vulnerable youth!

Scholars in Service Program

 Service. Impact. Advocacy.
Events

This fall, Covenant House Georgia is offering the opportunity for a select group of high school students to learn more about the causes and effects of homelessness while making a profound impact in the lives of young people experiencing homelessness. Those selected will hear from some of Atlanta’s  business and non-profit leaders about the key issues surrounding homelessness and have the opportunity to develop leadership skills necessary to make an impact. In short they will learn how to be Philanthropists! During this journey they will make personal and lasting connections through service projects, round table discussions, and a philanthropy course.

Application Opening September 1st!
