Allison Ashe

Allison Ashe

Allison Ashe, Executive Director of Covenant House Georgia, is an experienced non-profit executive with a demonstrated ability to establish and grow an organization from the ground up. She has a strong background in all aspects of non-profit management including governance, finance, human resources, program development, communications, and resource development. Proven ability to develop strategy and generate revenue from a diverse portfolio of supporters. Allison has extensive background in managing executive level volunteers, resulting in strong relationships with the Atlanta area corporate executives and philanthropists.

Allison is a Georgian who served for the past six years as COO and Vice President of Development for the Atlanta Police Foundation. In her role Allison oversaw the day to day operations of the Foundation, provided oversight to program development and implementation and had primary responsibility for all fundraising activities. As the first staff member of the Foundation in 2003, Allison played an integral role in all aspects of the development of the Foundation including board governance, resource development, communications and media relations, program development and implementation, and financial oversight. Since 2003 the Foundation has grown to support seven major programs for the Atlanta Police Department, has an annual budget of over $1 million and is governed by a board of 27 directors.

Allison serves on the board of the Fulton Child Advocacy Society and the Atlanta Medical Center Community Advisory Board. She is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, and a long time volunteer with Warrick Dunn’s Home for the Holidays program which aids single mothers in achieving their dream of home ownership. Allison has a Masters Degree in Theological Studies and brings more than 12 years experience in pastoral counseling and community ministry, and feels Covenant House “is the perfect opportunity for me to combine my expertise in fundraising and management with my personal faith and commitment to bettering the lives of Georgia’s youth….I am energized by the mission of Covenant House Georgia and would eagerly utilize my diverse background to lead an organization that provides refuge and support for children in need.” In 2007 Allison was named as one of Atlanta’s 40 under 40 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Allison resides in College Park with her husband Paul and two children Sophia and Miles.

As the Executive Director of Covenant House Georgia, Allison will play a central role in the fundraising and economic stability of the site, in developing long range policies and programs, in raising public awareness and resources, in approving and monitoring operating and capital budgets, in the staffing and supervision of all activities of the organization.

Debbie Clark, Director of Finance and Administration:

Debbie is a native Atlantan. She is the Director of Human Resources/Volunteer Coordinator at Covenant House Georgia. She started working at CHGA in December 2000 as the Executive Assistant. Her professional education includes 19 years of human resources and 10 years of human services work experience.

She achieved most of her education in Georgia where she received her primary education. She attended Savannah State College (Savannah, GA), Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA), Southwestern College (Chula Vista, CA), and National Louis University (Atlanta, GA). Debbie has a Associates degree from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California in General Studies with emphasis in Social Work and a Bachelors degree from National Louis University in Atlanta, Georgia in Applied Behavioral Sciences. She also has a Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix.

At an early age Debbie learned about helping others with needs from her mother who worked for many years with children with disabilities and the elderly. Debbie’s life experiences include working with individuals with disabilities and helping them return to the workforce, encouraging employers to hire individuals with obvious disabilities (she believes everyone has a disability), assisting individuals who were laid off from work return to the workforce, and helping them deal with the stress that comes with losing a job and long term unemployment. Her experience in human services helps her in her daily job duties at Covenant House Georgia managing recruitment, human relations, fringe benefits, safety, workers compensation, training & development, and volunteerism.
