COVID-19 has led to a shift in our spring fundraising initiatives, which typically raise over $1 Million to meet the needs of our young people. Covenant House Georgia is happy to partner with Covenant House sites across the country to bring you our first-ever virtual gala, A Night of Covenant House Stars. While we wish we were able to gather in-person to celebrate our young people, we hope that you enjoy the show and are able to support our youth from the comfort of your home.
Our youth need your support now more than ever. Together, we can make sure their needs are met!
Helps Covenant House Georgia establish a 30-day reserve of food supplies for all of our residential programming (serving 80 young people each day), ensuring that we are able to meet the most basic needs of youth, even during times of uncertainty.
Helps support the cost of around-the-clock staffing in every area of our programming, so that our youth continue to receive the best care possible during these uncertain times.
Provides mental health therapy and essential healthcare services for five youth in our Crisis Shelter through Covenant House Georgia's Health Clinic.
Gifts one month of shelter for a vulnerable youth experiencing homelessness or escaping trafficking during a global health crisis.
Buys a week’s worth of groceries for every young person in one of our independent living cottages, many of whom have lost their jobs due to COVID-19.
Provides transportation to work for 10 youth who have been classified as “essential employees” so that they can maintain employment at this time.
Helps cover the cost of a youth’s workforce development training, helping to improve their employability during this time of economic uncertainty.
Buys a new set of linens for every bed in one crisis shelter room, helping to ensure that our shelter remains clean and safe for our youth during this time.
Helps cover the cost of a full day of meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for a youth in our residential program who has lost their job due to COVID-19.
