Traci Floyd is a licensed professional counselor with more than 19 years of experience in the social services field. She earned a BS in Psychology with a minor in Business, Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development, and an Educational Specialist in Community Counseling. She is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery. Prior to joining the Covenant House Team; Traci was a Director serving youth in group homes. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in mental health counseling, CPS work, advocacy, case management, supervising clinical staff, substance abuse, anger management training, training the trainer, and working with youth with autism. She is a certified Mindset trainer as well as verbal CPI trainer. As the Clinical Director; Traci has strategic and operational responsibility for all areas of mental health and counseling for Covenant House GA. Traci strives to ensure she serves and advocates for all young adults as well as staff. She has a desire to ensure that Covenant House is a temporary home while effective services are provided and not just a shelter.
