The Covey Guild is a group of women dedicated to meeting the needs of youth experiencing homelessness and escaping trafficking in Atlanta by supporting the mission and staff of CHGA.
Working together through the Covey Guild, we can accomplish more for the youth than we can as individuals. The Covey Guild dues provide educational and social enrichment opportunities for the
CHGA residents. Join us as we empower our Georgia youth!

$100 annual membership dues go toward services and programs for CHGA youth, including Prom, Holiday Fest, Care Kits, etc.
Orchestrated 33 volunteer-led meals, providing 2,145 young people with nourishment
Threw 12 Birthday Bashes to celebrate the lives of our youth
Had a Holidy Fest to kick off the Holiday Season with merriment
Transported our youth to Paris for a once in a lifetime Prom Night
Poured love and care into the Clothing Closets on our campus to make them spaces youth can enjoy
Gave our staff a gift of our first ever Appreciation Luncheon
Loved on our young people, making them feel seen and heard.

Heather, Jessica, Pat, Marianne, Paula, Eleanor, Pam, Amber, and Holly spent time loving on our clothing closets in February. These ladies efforts created a beautiful and organized space for our youth to feel pampered and special. Thank you for giving your time and passions to make CHGA feel like home.
We had a wonderful turnout at the Winter Meeting hosted by Jane Ridall! We were able to reconnect in the new year with good friends and new friends. Thank you to everyone who attended and our wonderful membership committees for getting everything ready.
Our Covey Guild was the first group to try out virtual programming with our young people. This group has been meeting weekly with our young people for almost 10 years, and COVID 19 wasn't going to stop them!
A group of Covey Women asked how they could help each week, and began making sack lunches for our young people. These were no ordinary sack lunches- CHGA team members refer to them as "gourmet"!
As on campus volunteering was limited due to COVID 19, Covey Members came together to provide meals that would normal be served by volunteers. They funded over 12 dinner for youth in our care over the last few weeks.
Our Special Events Committee plans and executes fun events for our young people including an annual Prom and Holiday Party. Reach out to Pat to help plan!
Our Membership Committee focuses on finding new friends and fostering meaningful relationships with members. Committee members help plan socials and meetings. Reach out to Mary to get involved!
Our Birthday Bash Committee throws a Birthday Part for our young people every 3rd Thursday of the Month. To sign up, reach out to Abby Stubbington or Ansley Wesler.
Our Glam Squad helps keep our on campus clothing closets organized for our young people. They also wrap their arms around our youth and help bless them with some in-kind needs, like care packages or college needs. To sign up, reach out to Eleanor!
