About The Covey Guild

phpThumb_generated_thumbnail-0008.jpg

The Covey Guild is a group of women dedicated to meeting the needs of youth experiencing homelessness and escaping trafficking in Atlanta by supporting the mission and staff of CHGA.

Working together through the Covey Guild, we can accomplish more for the youth than we can as individuals. The Covey Guild dues provide educational and social enrichment opportunities for the CHGA residents. Join us as we empower our Georgia youth!

Join us to empower our youth and show them the love and compassion they so desperately deserve.

$100 annual membership dues go toward services and programs for CHGA youth, including Prom, Holiday Fest, Care Kits, etc.

IN THE PAST YEAR OF THE COVEY GUILD, MORE THAN 100 WOMEN JOINED FORCES AND

Orchestrated 33 volunteer-led meals, providing 2,145 young people with nourishment

Threw 12 Birthday Bashes to celebrate the lives of our youth

Had a Holidy Fest to kick off the Holiday Season with merriment

Transported our youth to Paris for a once in a lifetime Prom Night

Poured love and care into the Clothing Closets on our campus to make them spaces youth can enjoy

We had a wonderful turnout at the Winter Meeting hosted by Jane Ridall! We were able to reconnect in the new year with good friends and new friends. Thank you to everyone who attended and our wonderful membership committees for getting everything ready.

Virtual Volunteers

Our Covey Guild was the first group to try out virtual programming with our young people. This group has been meeting weekly with our young people for almost 10 years, and COVID 19 wasn't going to stop them!

BROOKHAVEN BAG BRIGADE

A group of Covey Women asked how they could help each week, and began making sack lunches for our young people. These were no ordinary sack lunches- CHGA team members refer to them as "gourmet"!

THE COVEY MEAL FUND
